Question for: Aug 15, 2024

The second U.S. President to die in office, Zachary Taylor, expired from gastroenteritis on July 9, 1850 (his physician diagnosed the ailment with the term "cholera morbus"). Although the exact cause is the subject of historical speculation, Taylor apparently drank iced milk and ate large amounts of what fruit prior to death? The acid from that fruit may have been the cause of the gastric distress.
